Aug 4th 2008 4:25PM Marques,If you put regular fuel in a BMW it will still run. The engine management will retard the timing. If that wasn't the case I would have blown up my 740Li by now.
Aug 4th 2008 4:22PM Marques,You were doing great until you said a Chevy Aveo had kick... that thing doesn't have any kick. A 911 Turbo, that has kick... a Mercedes SL600 has kick... an Aveo does not.Aveo is 0 to 60 in 10.8 seconds... no torque what-so-ever. If you seriously think the Aveo is quick, stop by my house sometime when your in Los Angeles.

Jun 16th 2008 6:06AM Which may be true, but when your sitting in the back you probably don't care if the car has nice navigation or some insane sound system. You also wouldn't care how the thing drives; only that the back seats are 1) soft enough and 2) fit the size of your butt. It's just about image... and for the time being people sitting in the back seat will prefer to step out of a Lincoln than say "Yeah, I got picked up by a Camry."
Jun 8th 2008 5:42PM Err... not sure what country you live in, but in the United States it's perfectly legal to pass on the right.
Jun 6th 2008 8:52PM You'll be disappointed for a long time... because once Porsche gets to 28mpg, gas will cost more and you'll be asking for 32mpg.Expensive cars get good performance and with that generally comes worse MPG. If a Porsche 911 had the same MPG as a Prius, it probably would be just as slow.
Jun 3rd 2008 4:56PM Disgruntled Goat:I wouldn't be too sure about that... I work PT at a whole $8.93/hr and still drive a Porsche 944 Turbo. I had a '95 BMW 740iL before this and the BMW was the one that had higher maintenance cost.
May 31st 2008 6:03PM IIRC there was already a post about this a while back. But if it smells good, then I'll buy it... who cares what company made it. It's cologne, so the smell matters... not the bottle, not the name, but the smell.
May 28th 2008 9:53PM You might be the stupid one; seeing how you didn't specify who "they" is, your sentence is basically incomprehensible.
Mar 6th 2008 2:40AM Well, my life is worth more than that... so unless they can prove without a doubt that a $5,000 dollar car is safer than my BMW 7 series, I won't be buying it. Gas could be $10 a gallon, and my safety still comes first.
