Dec 3rd 2008 3:25PM I just got the e74 code last night and my microsoft warranty is expired...I've had it for about a year and a half. I think its pretty stupid that this isn't covered under the extended 3 year warranty. Fortunately for me, I think I'll be able to get it fixed because I purchased a protection plan from walmart that is still in effect. I'm just concerned about losing all my game saves and downloads if walmart decides to replace my xbox rather than send it in for repairs.

Jan 13th 2007 3:43PM I bought a Zune the day it came out. I have to say that I have never had an iPod and I never want one. The iPod is too "trendy" for me and it never actually interested me enough to warrant a purchase. When I first saw the Zune interface I was immediately interested and when I saw it in stores I made an impulse purchase and joined the few proud Zune owners. I read all the bad reviews and all the trouble people has with the installation but I had no problems.
As far as the software goes, I'm not completely impressed or satisfied. I'm hoping that things get better with updates. But the hardware I feel completely outperforms the iPod. I love the interface, I love the way it looks and I'm completely happy with the sound quality. It's even more exciting to hear about all the features that may still come to the first generation Zune. I think it's a great device and I'm 100% happy with my purchase.
