Apr 9th 2010 12:16PM Remember when adobe just sold photoshop and the world was simple. They buy all these flash and shockwave tools and flood the web with all this crap which slows down web browsers but hey my website looks pretty.

In all seriousness as long as video streams I don't care how its provided to me. Personally I hate flash but until vendors stop using it I don't any reason to buy a Ipad or any tech that can't support flash.

Sep 27th 2008 10:25AM I've been to Guangzhou, China and Taipei, Taiwan this year and I would say China is the place to go to get cheap junk you normally could buy at walmart and Taiwan was the place to go to good quality items. Taiwan had a better electronics mall however pricing was similar to or more than Newegg on most items and its all chinese manuals, OS's etc.. so if you decide to go shopping bring a calculator to convert prices to US dollars so you don't spend to much on something you could have bought from newegg for similar or less. Oh and it never hurts to have a chinese friend go with you to do the bidding as if they see your American prices tend to not budge as much for you.

I found a better deal buying good quality knock off purses and shoes at the leather malls in Guangzhou than in Taiwan and my wife loves me for that :P

Not to be completely off topic, but there are some pretty cool cases for pretty cheap that you can get for Hard drives that will output .xvid and .avi video to a TV if you looking for a compact way to travel with you Movie/MP3 collection.

Oh and Taiwan and its Mountains/country side was far more enjoyable to see than China, both places had bad pollution though.
