If you need to pass variables to the script which handles the files on the backend, the only way to do it easily is to add the variables to the querystring in the init of the SWFUpload like so:
upload_backend : "../upload.php?variable=$data",

Aug 21st 2006 6:10PM The one drawback I see with this is that it advertises very prominently my IP address in the URL to which it eventually points the downloading user. So, it seems that Zapr is a nice wrapper around a purpose-built HTTP server which is all well and good but doesn't seem terribly secure, scalable or fast.

If these Mac nerds had any balls, they would have had a Linux machine sitting in their office for the past few years like the rest of anyone whose job it is to actually develop things than to write about developing them.

Jan 18th 2006 6:06PM You should check out TVTAD. It will integrate with almost any torrent client. Much easy to configure and search feeds.
