May 13th 2008 7:03PM Oh, and why do they need to remake this film, with Cage no less? This is not the vehicle for Cage at all. Keitel was perfect for this part. If anything, he should remake it. Unless Cage is able to do like he did in Leaving Las Vegas, I think this might be a waste of time. Maybe they should get Ian McShane to do the part. He'd be great!

Mar 5th 2008 3:09PM Got info from someone who worked on this show. It is only slated to run one season, and not a full season either. Only 6 to 8 shows. The show was cancelled before it was even aired. Hopefully this is wrong info, but I don't think so.

Jul 31st 2007 10:34AM Changing the "I want more life f--ker!" to "I want more life Father" IS like changing the scene where Han shot first. It totally changes the character and feeling of the scene. Batty is no longer angry and dangerous, he's just pathetic. That's a BIG CHANGE. It ties in with the way he violently kills Tyrell. Changing it to "father" really emasculates the Batty character and the whole scene.

Boy, I'm glad they're going to include the unaltered version in the DVD set.

Jul 16th 2007 11:21AM I, too, have a friend who tells me (only when I ask, to be fair) that I have to read these books. When I say, "No, I have no interest in them," he says, "How do you know you have no interest in them if you won't read them." You know, I have no interest in eating chocolate covered roaches either. And, I have no interest in trying one to find out if I like it.

Although I have found myself on the other side of the coin, with LotR, convincing people to watch the series...

Things I Hate About TV: Not saying goodbye on the phone (AOL TV)

Jun 15th 2006 1:29AM Not only don't they say "goodbye" but they often say "yeah" when they first pick up the phone.

Also, one thing that also drives me crazy is when a character invites another character to have a drink, or a cup of coffee, and the other person never, ever drinks the coffee/drink and usually ends up putting down the cup and leaving the scene. At least take a sip or two before you go, please.

Apr 9th 2006 12:30AM Yeah, I stood next to this thing and it's barely 2&1/2 stories high. If the rest of it is underground, it wouldn't be a cube any more.
