May 19th 2011 2:19AM Yes, it is now an upgrade. Here is the list of upgrades:
1.Create Fluid Apps with Separate Cookie Storage. (Preferences → Security → Cookie Storage)
2. Pin Fluid Apps to the Mac OS X Status Bar. (Fluid App Menu → Pin to Status Bar…)
3.Use Userscripts or Userstyles in your Fluid Apps. (Window → Userscripts)
May 18th 2011 12:20AM With how aggressive the other browsers are, Chrome needs to step it up. Everything listed were things that other browsers had except for the speech to text feature. At least they have officially dropped Google Gears (http://www.softwarecrew.com/2011/05/google-chrome-12-beta-enhances-security-and-loses-gears/ )
May 17th 2011 11:55PM I am a big Firefox fan. Although, lately I have had some issues with it not closing properly, it is still my favorite browser. To me, it just seems as if Chrome (http://www.softwarecrew.com/2011/05/google-chrome-12-beta-enhances-security-and-loses-gears/ )is playing catch up with download security(IE has had it since its last release). Don't get me wrong, Chrome is a great browser but, other than the speech to text feature, it is all catch up from what other browsers have recently put out.
Apr 13th 2011 11:09PM @MxxCon Really, if you are talking about a great defrag software, Iobit's Smart Defrag ( http://www.softwarecrew.com/2011/03/smart-defrag-2-released-promises-faster-performance/ ) is the only one on the market that is worth its weight. It is a free defrag software that is fast and allows you to customize the exact files that you want to defrag.
Apr 13th 2011 6:24AM @Sebastian Anthony I think you have a job offer (this comment was buried at the bottom)...
Come and write for Softwarecrew!
Guys, really sad to hear that Download Squad is closing. However, we'd be particularly keen to hear if you're interested in moving across to Softwarecrew (http://www.softwarecrew.com), produced by Betanews Inc in the States?
Let us know. We've also contacted you directly through the site. This is a serious offer.
Apr 11th 2011 6:45AM I am not sure about a subscription model. Especially after you have been able to buy cs... for so many years. I wonder with the larger user base if Adobe will be able to pull this off. If you are looking for a simple photo editing tool, Photoshop Essentials is the way to go [ http://www.softwarecrew.com/2011/03/adobe-updates-photoshop-express-for-ios-with-new-camera-workflow-and-in-app-purchases/ ] and a LOT less expensive. I am just not sure how willing I would be to pay that much money to use Photoshop on a tablet).
