Jul 5th 2006 6:13AM Jan Murray was the host of a show called Treasure Hunt in the late 1950's. The main source of interest for me as a prepubescent jerk kid was the fact that the young lady that rolled out the treasure chest was Marian Stafford, an early Playboy bunny and my next door neighbor's cousin. We'd watch the show, then pull out the copy we had stashed and give it a close comparison to what we'd seen on the screen.

Feb 21st 2005 8:37AM The term "near Charlotte" is definitely relative. It's 178 miles, not all of them on the Interstate Highway System. Cherokee is actually about 17 miles closer to Atlanta than Charlotte. Nonetheless, there are about a bazillion people that would love to make the trek. Consider that the metro populations of Atlanta, Charlotte, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Greenville, Greenville, and Columbia are within a 4 hour drive.

Jan 9th 2005 10:39AM Very nice, since Creative screwed me with the Rhomba, which has no replaceable battery. They offered me a new unit for $99 but since it was available on the net for $69 I politely declined. No more Creative for me. I don't want them to use me as a tester paying for the privelige.
