Jan 3rd 2008 1:42AM @Paul,Not being able to log in is not a problem with Firefox, it is a problem with the Bulletin Board / Forum scripting. BB/Forum software is notoriously bad about browser sniffing instead of using standards compliant code, and most BB/Forum software packages don't get updated regularly. If you used a Firefox extension like User Agent Switcher (may not be the right name), and switched Firefox to appear as IE you would more than likely be able to log in without any problems.
May 30th 2007 2:10AM @Chris,The difference between Macs and PCs is this... I pay $2000 for a MBP and when their is a problem with it I go into an Apple Store and walk out with a repaired or replaced MBP within an hour or so, or at most 4 days. With a Windows laptop, if you have a problem you are without your laptop for a MINIMUM of 4 weeks - if not closer to 8 weeks (my all too common experience with Dell and Gateway) or you end up having to fix it yourself.I don't know about you, but I can't put off doing my work for weeks at a time. If I'm not working, my clients aren't paying me. So yeah, we will compare out Macs to Ferraris because you get what you pay for. If you want premium service you pay for it. If you want POS Dell or Gateway type service, you don't pay for it.
Mar 17th 2007 5:21PM In Sean Miller's comments post game he stated that he did not think that the foul was intentional. This is sounding more like sour grapes from a UM fan who's looking for a 'moral victory' over the Buckeyes. Lord knows UM can't beat OSU in football or basketball.
Mar 17th 2007 5:13PM FFM, did you even watch the game? Xavier's coach did the crossed arms thing about 10 times during the game. it is one of Xavier's signals for calling plays.Oden was going for the ball, and the smaller Xavier player collided with him and went flying. Compare that to the leg-whip take down/steal that the Xavier player got away with and honestly say which one should have been a flagrant foul.
Feb 1st 2007 3:26AM ramalama,You are wrong, the ability didn't disappear in 7. iTunes 7 added the ability to store the file in the iTunes Database you can still add artwork to the tracks tag by dragging the album's artwork into the artwork box on the info box. They did this to improve the speed of the video iPods. Artwork embedded in the files tag is slower to extract and display than artowrk that is stored as a separate file and linked to through your iTunes music database.
Save your tabs and Panorama tab groups in Firefox 4
