TUAW Review: Richard | Solo Smart Backup Battery for iPhone / iPod (TUAW.com)

Aug 11th 2008 10:09AM It's 1000 mAh vs. the Richard Solo 1200 mAh. Not significant enough (at least to me) to make a huge difference and warrant the larger size.

TUAW Review: Richard | Solo Smart Backup Battery for iPhone / iPod (TUAW.com)

Aug 11th 2008 9:47AM I have the Kensington mini battery pack charger and it works just fine with the iPhone 3G. I prefer it because of its much smaller footprint, compared to the Richard Solo device.

The hundred gadget giveaway: round 23 (Engadget Mobile)

Sep 9th 2007 2:08PM I'll take my spin at the wheel, thankyouverymuch.

Send Google Calendar updates via SMS (Download Squad)

Jul 13th 2007 7:04AM I wish I could view a specific date weeks or months in advance by texting in the date. This is good, but to be truly useful I need to be able to see if there's a conflict before adding a new event.

So... did you get a Wii? (Engadget)

Nov 19th 2006 10:31PM Got it. While I was checking out, the store phone rang 4 times...folks asking if the store had any consoles in stock. Nope, they only had enough to fill the preorders.

Unfortunately, we ordered an extra wiiremote and an extra nunchuk, and could only get the extra remote today.

I just realized: I don't know my Sleep Number (AOL TV)

Oct 22nd 2006 5:17PM We got a king size bed for under $1300 last year. It's the low-end model so I have no idea what my sleep number is. I just push the dial until it feels right (no display on the remote). My husband likes sleeping on really firm mattresses and I like mine on the soft side. It's the perfect compromise for us.

Why living in a college town sucks (Joystiq Nintendo)

Oct 22nd 2006 10:23AM At a mall just outside of Princeton, NJ (maybe this is the kind of college town where they don't have time for video games? ;-) ) my husband arrived at EB games 40 minutes before opening and he was #22 in line for 30 units. So we're in!

X1 - Free Desktop Search (Download Squad)

Oct 22nd 2006 10:12AM I used X1 (paid) for years, but like the a previous commenter I found each build to be slower and slower. The interface is dated and often hard to read on a large monitor. I'm now using Copernic Desktop Search 2, and while it lacks some features that X1 has (such as searching .PST files that aren't open in Outlook) it's faster, has a nicer interface and has *much* less wear & tear on the drive while indexing or just running in the background.

Engadget's relaunch giveaways: Xbox 360 Premium pack number four (Engadget)

Oct 22nd 2006 9:56AM I don't know anyone who has one...let me be the first in my crowd! :-)

Cingular brings Push Mail to 8125: MSFP up for download (Engadget Mobile)

Jun 19th 2006 10:21AM They may have "pulled the trigger" but the gun is shooting blanks. The file on HTC's site, which you can get to from the Cingular page linked above, is corrupt. It's a 39mb download when it should be a 52mb file. There hasn't been a single report that I can find of anyone successfully installing the update from the official links.

What I can imagine Cingular saying: "We said we would release the update on June 19th...you want to actually *run* it?!? Oh, that will take another 6 months..."
