Mar 15th 2011 12:45PM @Jaymoon That's a pretty low bar for quitting. I use "fancy" words on occasion, mainly because I remember them from when they're used against me. I've never used QUAICH before, but I'll never forget the time some brainac played MUTULE against me for 700 points on a random tile board. I had to look it up to see if it was even a real word. heh
Feb 9th 2011 11:24AM They disabled this at my 20k+ employee company in the middle of last year. It cut down on viral infections tremendously. Stupid users.
Feb 7th 2011 2:09PM First, why in the world did that cost $10 million? Not putting them down or anything, but most of it was just shots of the city and buildings being driven by. Did it cost that much to hire Eminem and license his song? Anyway, I likes the commercial and it really makes the 200 look good/cool. That Little Vader commercial blows this out of the water of course, but I've been asking around here in the office and no one can even remember which car company that was for. Half of them said Toyota, thinking that was a Camry.
Feb 7th 2011 10:19AM A company's got a right to make an honest profit. I like Last.fm, but no more so than Pandora. If that ever goes to subscription only service, then Last.fm becomes an option again.
Jan 28th 2011 10:07AM @timoverbeek10 I think that was just used as an example. There may be other occasions where the app isn't allowed back into the Market, or where the publisher simply doesn't want it there.
Jan 25th 2011 12:16PM DC Mike, just out of curiosity... why the hell would they do that? Did they have no sense of history, automotive or otherwise?
Jan 7th 2011 1:57PM Most likely the Jeep passes because it has a higher stance. A car bumper is going to hit a Jeep's reinforced step bar, whereas a car bumper might hit a Beachcomber passenger's shoulder blade instead.
Jan 7th 2011 10:37AM It should be pointed out that it is only local communities and states that are banning these drinks and not the feds. Four Loko is still widely available here in Florida, and sales are solid. Why don't they work out a way to ship them here instead? They're probably just doing this for the headlines, and hey it worked.
Jan 4th 2011 5:06PM Aw man, and I thought Donald really liked me!
