Oct 3rd 2010 12:11AM Nothing will ever "shape the web" until IE6/7 is longer used by anybody, anywhere, anytime. As long as the millions of people still using these 7+ year-old browser(s), there will be no shaping of any web.
It's amazing to now see the strangle-hold MS had on the industry in the early years, seeing as how IE6 was released in 2001.
I have no explanation for it. Obviously people are still using very, very old computers .. but how? I would have put my head right through it by now, rendering it useless, anyways.
