May 31st 2011 3:54AM That's an iPhone app, not for your Mac, there are loads of Kaleidoscope and camera effect apps for iOS. But thanks for the tip.
May 30th 2011 8:54AM For some reason, the Mac App Store struggles sometimes with de-regionalised store links (those that lack /us/ or /gb/ etc). If you search for it, or just click refresh it normally goes through fine. It's intermittent as far as I can see, and doesn't effect everyone, but annoying none-the-less.
May 27th 2011 6:30AM Something funny is going on. I can see and download Maps+ from the UK store in iTunes on the desktop, but I can only see it, not access the listing on my iDevices. It doesn't seem to be even listed in the US store. I might just be a propagation issue. It's literally just gone live, so maybe it just takes time for things to roll out across the stores.Anyway, you can download it through iTunes, or wait and try again later.
May 27th 2011 5:54AM Spot on. I shall clarify to make that a little more obvious.
May 25th 2011 10:26AM Yep, was difficult to find people to test it with, that's for sure. Loads of people have iPhones, I only know a handful of people who own iPads. Mind you, all that I know who own iPads also own iPhones (including me).
May 23rd 2011 5:44PM I can still see it in the US store:http://cl.ly/1r130A1i0K042Y3c2P0L
May 23rd 2011 5:35PM FYI, I'm based in the UK, so all the apps I review for the Daily Mac App are available in the UK.
May 23rd 2011 4:30PM Np. We've covered Better Touch Tool before for anyone who's interested:http://www.tuaw.com/2010/01/05/bettertouchtool-makes-multi-touch-infinitely-more-useful-for-fr/
May 23rd 2011 4:16PM The screen recording package? Of course. Not sure what it's got to do with window management, however.
May 22nd 2011 9:07AM @the-lampman - I'm glad you have a differing opinion to me; if everyone was the same it'd be boring don't you think? But frankly, I can't agree with you. I admitted that 'aesthetics come down to personal preference' and hence your opinion might be, and obviously is, different. But if you don't read my posts for some sort of opinion I'm not sure what you're reading for. If you just wanted a description of what the app did you could read that on the Mac App Store.I'm glad you're a happy Translucent owner, and I'm pleased that the program suits your needs, wants and desires, but it was lacking in my opinion. In then end, that is all I can give you, my opinion. Others are available.
