May 26th 2009 9:03PM I started using DeepBurner years ago and found it to work fine. Is DeepBurner still well regarded?

I tried ImgBurn the other day and really like it...probably will switch, but DeepBurner has been good to me.

Nov 13th 2008 12:41PM Vista on a netbook with 1.3ghz atom processor...man that is going to be SLOW! I have eeePC 901 with 1.6ghz atom and a the Xandros distro that is tweaked for the processor and it is "ok". Vista can be alright if you have some good specs, but it will be a dog on slower hardware.

You could set up calendars and sync them with your email calendars, customize your lineup, etc. But they ran out of money and closed down apparently. Been bummed ever since. I will take a look at the ones in the post...looking for a replacement.

Feb 8th 2006 1:09PM Cool article. Unfortunately I hae a comacst/motorolla DVR (POS with 1 tuner, but still better than nothing). I just got the Buffalo Link theater for Christmas and it is a great solution for accessing mp3, video and pictures from multiple PCs. The interface is a bit clunky, but it works well. Mt wife is pumped that she can now play all the mp3s, videos and pictures thu the entertainment center with little more than a couple of remote control button presses. I just thought I would mention it for hte rest of us that are stuck with a limited cable/sat co provided DVR.

Feb 2nd 2006 2:51PM I have not tried LastFM...yet. But I love Pandora. I've already bought a couple of CDs (thru their Amazon link) of bands I had never heard of that Pandora played for me. Like Tift Merritt...never heard of her before, but man she is amazing! I need to try LastFM, but Pandora totally rocks me thru the workday.

I have to say that the SlingBox totally rocks...Around the house or out of town...heck even when I'm at the office and need to catch the news. If MCE adds this capability it will be cool, but I don't think sling has to worry too much. There will be a lot of people who won't buy an MCE box that would pay $250 for the sling.
