Jing Pro giveaway (Download Squad)
Nov 23rd 2010 4:15PM I've been using Jing on Mac and Windows for a couple years now. It is such an integral part of my workflow. I wouldn't mind the Pro version, of course.
Limited edition Joule and Vapor cases from ElementCase (TUAW.com)
Oct 28th 2010 12:35PM After seeing one in person I was pretty disappointed. Dings and scratches in the metal, odd finish effects, and the parts don't line up correctly when installed on the phone. It really bummed me out, because I was excited for this case. I hope V2 is an improvement.
TUAW Review and Giveaway: Vuzix Wrap 310XL Video Eyewear (TUAW.com)
Aug 30th 2010 4:55PM I'd load the screen splittr jailbreak app on my iPhone, and walk around using Yelp's augmented reality view with an active search for "John Connor", while talking in a thick Austrian accent and making servo noises with my mouth.
Engadget's recession antidote: win a Phosphor E-Ink watch! (Engadget)
Jul 15th 2009 12:13PM I've been wanting one of these watches for a while... fingers crossed! Though I feel like my chances are pretty slim since the submission deadline is July 8th??
Augmented Reality meets Twitter: useful, or just trendy? (Download Squad)
Jul 14th 2009 10:00AM I have to disagree. I think filtering by location is one of the best ways to distill good content out of Twitter. If you point the phone at someone's house or office, then I think you'll get the pointless posts that make up the 90% you mentioned. However, point the application at a popular venue, store, or restaurant, and I bet you'll find more useful information than you'd expect. I'm going off of the surprisingly useful experience I had with Twinkle back in the day, and apps like Brightkite now, both of which have been useful tools for me while moving to new cities.
NEC CRV43: 43-inches of curve on sale July (Engadget)
Jun 4th 2009 12:18PM Yeah it was. Looks like the exact same hardware. http://www.engadget.com/2008/01/07/video-alienwares-curved-display-caters-to-gamers/
Win a copy of Things for Mac and iPhone (TUAW.com)
Feb 6th 2009 10:55PM Currently I'm using Remember The Milk. I've been reading through the Getting Things Done book, and RTM does lack a few features that Things has that I'd like to give a shot to really use a fully fleshed GTD system.
D3x reportedly shown, then removed from Nikon's site (Engadget)
Nov 28th 2008 12:51AM I hope that's not an official photo... the image on the LCD is a pretty default looking Bunkspeed Hypershot rendering... the environment is one of the few HDRI's that ship with Hypershot.

Aug 4th 2008 11:51AM Am I the only one that's noticed that Friend Book is missing too? Has that been looked in to?
