Sep 21st 2010 2:12PM I keep thinking that a full on IDE like Visual Studio with this level of integration to a source control server would be awesome... so two people can actually work in a given code file at once... not just check in and clobber, but collaborate or both view/edit at the same time.

Firefox 4 may not get silent updates after all (Download Squad)
Sep 14th 2010 12:44PM I think that the installer for v4 should have an option for a user install... if it is installed in the user directory, then silent, otherwise as it is/was. I think that most people will go ahead and update when prompted. It isn't like the "Windows Automatic Updates" that pretty much sits silently in the corner of the screen... Firefox actively prompts on a fresh launch. Personally, as I only use Chrome for occasional testing, sometimes the behavior is annoying. Though, I find Safari's sales push updater more annoying.
