Jan 13th 2009 11:09PM You don't need to own the iPhone version to get the discount on the desktop app. Simply enter the coupon code, "thingspresale20", on the website and you'll get 20% off. It expires Jan. 15th.

On the subject of price, Omnifocus (biggest Things competitor) is $79.95, and their iPhone app is $19.99. I personally think Things is better, and it's still cheaper even at full price.

Is it a specific codec or other particular setting that people are having trouble with?

Oct 19th 2007 4:22PM Does anyone know if TM will pull files from other externals as well, or will it only backup your internal drive? I keep most of my files on an external, because my internal isn't big enough. If TM won't pull from that external, it's kind of useless (to me).
