Using a TiVo Series 3 in Canada (PVR Wire)

Oct 27th 2006 10:30AM Thanks for the post Chris. For clarity, the S3 does receive programming information for all analogue cable in Canada - some 70ish stations and works as usual for all analogue sources both cable and OTA. It's challenge is on the digital front. But I expect Tribune/TiVo to start providing digital (including HD) OTA programming information in the coming months after which the S3 will become a very viable PVR anyone in Canada EXCEPT those reliant on obtaining their programming from Satellite or digital cable sources.
