Before the bell 10-13-06: AAPL, GE, TWX, WMT (BloggingStocks)
Oct 25th 2006 10:15PM A good day for stocks I see. Everything seem to be rising up! It's times like these wherein you wait for the bomb to fall. I hope not. Not at least until I sell everything,
Are Apple, Wal-Mart and others killing the DVD? (BloggingStocks)
Oct 25th 2006 10:14PM The SD chip will definitely de-throne the DVD. Its more handy, and not prone to scratches. BUt, with high costs surrounding it, I doubt anyone will have a mini SD chip collection soon. DVD's will last a good 10 years IMO. People will always have the need to have a collection they can see and display. SD chips are too small for that kind of flaunting.

Oct 25th 2006 10:11PM This seems like a good idea. Although it has its cons too though. But to put together an index on other people's thoughts looks to be a good sell. Whether sound or stupid advice, whatever works eh? Gives people different perspectives on things.
Microsoft's SLAM (Download Squad)
Oct 25th 2006 10:08PM I believe a couple of phone models have this feature. They call it the "send to all" option. Or something like that. I don't know how Microsoft will manage to sell this service, but if they succeed, they are geniuses! Who would want to pay more for a service that is being offered for free anyway? Better let the marketing guys behind mineral water on it.

Another Microsoft issue eh? No problems really. You will be hearing no qualms from me. But I can't help but thinking that with all these issues with Mocrosoft, don't they value their customers? Are they that arrogant? Anyway, I'll be using Firefox from now anyway. As I said, no qualms.

Oct 25th 2006 10:04PM Was that the man in black? I don't think so. BUt nevertheless, a mighty fine looking video! Very cleverly done! witty and funny too! Where I can I download the soundtrack by the way?
A better way to die? (Joystiq)
Oct 25th 2006 10:03PM To die once in games would compel gamers to be more careful. This of course would make learning the game difficult. Since these are games, maybe multiple "auto-meds" to revive one from death, or "insta-portals" that transport a character before death occurs to a safe zone, or town perhaps. This would make gamers have multiple lives, but still not break the one death rule. Of course if someone is really stupid and still dies, maybe he deserves to die?
