AVG 7.5 Free Edition released (Download Squad)
Oct 23rd 2006 7:48AM Used AVG on many PCs for last few years. Switched to Active Virus Shield for its superior flexibility in scheduling of tasks and which areas of the PC are to be scanned. It also updates definitions throughout day, instead of once per day. Compared to the old AVG, AVS provides better tweaking options for the user.
