Mar 18th 2011 5:08PM i don't have too much of a problem if a developer advertises their own wares in a paid app if the ads are completely unobtrusive and don't interrupt or affect the experience whatsoever. but if the ads cause delays or you have to dismiss them to continue...i'd probably leave a negative review too.

of course if a paid app displays intrusive ads, or ad streams like iAd or AdSense, not only will i leave a negative review i'll also never buy from that dev again...

Mar 11th 2011 2:20PM i think you'll like Dropbox. so many apps integrate with it, on so many different platforms. although i do have MobileMe, if you mainly want to use it for keeping documents synced up it's hard to justify the high cost.

Mar 3rd 2011 10:51AM i had that same argument (but with an iPhone 3GS). then i got to take the company iPad home for a weekend. i have a 15" Mac laptop, but it spends so much time as my main home computer it seems to be a pain to disconnect and lug it around except when i really need that kind of processing power. the iPad has the size and weight of a paperback book, stows into a bag easily, and meets 80% of my daily computing needs but in a much more comfortable, readable size than my phone. i liked it a lot, but decided to wait until the next generation of it came out. glad i did.
