I believe that inmates have too may luxuries these days. They are supposed to be in prison to be punished for crimes against society, not to get FREE college degrees and Cable TV!!!

HOWEVER, OhBrotherWhereArtThou deserves contact with his family member. OhBrotherWhereArtThou did NOT commit a crime that has him/her in jail and therefore should not be punished by only having limited access to his/her brother. Text only email is a safe and convenient way for the family to communicate with this inmate. This is also the time when the brother will be most open to anything good the family has to say to him to bring light into his dark and troubled world.

Dec 7th 2006 8:35AM For the record, I run Windows XP, Ubuntu, and Mac OS X on different computers at my house. Now for the comment, Ubuntu is great and stable as is Mac OS X and Windows gets better all the time. But the fact remains that neither Mac nor any (or all) flavor of Linux will ever take enough market share to matter much. It is a dis-service to train a child on a Mac or linux box and not expose them to Windows because odds are they will only use the Mac or Linux box at home. Like it or not, the business world runs on Windows based PC's.

EA clarifies Battlefield 2142's IGA spyware (Joystiq)

Oct 18th 2006 11:39AM I wonder what Ads they will be serving up to me. I have a dedicated computer for gaming. I don't surf the internet, get email, or even download updates (with the exception of Windows and Antivirus updates)on this PC. Game updates downloaded on another PC and transfered over the network. Hmmm... Any thoughts on what I will get?
