The War On Hotel Wi-Fi Escalates (Gadling)

Apr 20th 2012 1:44AM This is really weird being overcharged like that.

In Europe most hotels (most, not all) have free WiFi, even in countries like the Ukraine.

Jan 23rd 2009 3:42AM If you solely rely on the ding-sound to make your company check your mail then its not the sound that its the problem, its the lack of proper routines. If you don't have a routine of checking your mail without some mechanical aid (the ding) then you need to look into that. ASAP.

Pixelmator 1.0.2: Now Leopard ready (TUAW.com)

Nov 11th 2007 4:02PM Nice GUI or not, i just wont try it out because of that sucky watermark they have in the demo. You could argue that it is possible to try all the features in the program without saving but for me the part of saving a image is a really big part of it all and i have a feeling that it matters to pretty much everyone that uses any prgogram that can save something.

Until they remove the watermark thing on save (not even Photoshop has this!) i wont even touch it.

No one is 'feeling lucky' in Google Search (Download Squad)

Oct 4th 2007 4:10PM According to google-watch.org Google handles 200 million searches per day. 1% of that is 2 million searches per day. You think 2 millon searches is nothing? How many uses Download Squads search engine? 2 million? I think not.

Apple store is down, yada yada yada, blah blah blah (Engadget)

Sep 5th 2007 1:03PM The subject writer seems to be in dire need of a vacation or maybe someone telling him that this is a gear/tech blog and not a blog where you test out your new pickup lines.
Hint: "yada yada yada" doesn't get you laid, not with ladies and not with Apple fanboys.

Aug 9th 2007 1:48PM Too bad, the podcasts used to be really good altho i always thought they were too short.
