Sep 1st 2009 1:19AM that would be a negative... at least not for me... i have the original 60GB, and a white Dual Shock 3 (Jpn Import).

I plugged the USB cable to the PS3 while it was off, then connected the DS3 and it did not blink, so i powered on the PS3, the DS3 blinked, and started charging, and then i powered off the PS3, and it stopped charging when the PS3 actually turned off... even though for a second there it actually looked like it would work!

Sep 1st 2009 12:50AM I updated to 3.0 and can back out to the XMB while playing an mp3... i have the old 60GB.. and if it makes a difference, i not signed into the PSN at this moment... the file i am playing is "The End Begins (To Rock)" that we got for free, that GOW Track from Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock...
