Exporting iTunes playlists to non-iPods? - Ask DLS (Download Squad)

Jan 11th 2007 7:26PM I've heard in the past that Winamp had a plugin available that allowed you to sync songs from Winamp to an iPod. After doing a quick Google, I found this (http://www.mlipod.com/). I've never used this (as I have a 5G iPod) and can't vouch for it, but this looks like it might be a good alternative to using iTunes to manage and transfer music.

Can't touch this (TUAW.com)

Jan 10th 2007 12:14PM The thing that surprises me, after reading the various posts and comments around the web, is that everybody is complaining about software-specific items that aren't included, like a YouTube widget for instance. Wouldn't it make sense that, since the iPhone is essentially a shell that surrounds it's software, that it can be upgraded in the future like the iPod. I can get firmware updates for my 5G video iPod through iTunes. Why not the iPhone? I think that as far as iPhone software goes, the possibilities are endless.

GBPVR 0.99.5 released (Download Squad)

Dec 26th 2006 3:43PM I've been using this since June 2006 with my PVR250 card and so far it has worked flawlessly. The feature that I love is that it integrates with my Hauppauge MediaMVP network media player so I can resume video playback between desktop playback and TV playback. My next project is to get automatic commercial-cutting to work and compress-to-iPod.

TUAW Poll: What keyboard and mouse do you use? (TUAW.com)

Nov 7th 2006 12:46PM I use a Microsoft Ergo. 4000 keyboard and wireless IntelliMouse Explorer with my G4 Mini. Works great - programmable buttons on both the keyboard and the mouse.

SciTE: A Ruby-licious programmer's text editor (Download Squad)

Jul 16th 2006 4:33PM In response to #3, SciTE does keep it's config files in the application's directory (at least on the Windows version). I use it on my thumb drive with no problems at all. Very handy.
