Aug 5th 2009 1:02PM CardStar can be really flaky if you have a screen protector. It works well with handheld scanners, but flatbed ones used at most supermarkets don't always work. It's a nice idea, not always great in practice.

Nov 21st 2008 8:17AM Did the update include the rumored opening up of the audio input through the dock connector? This was rumored, and would allow 1G iPod Touch users to take advantage of adding the Griffin iTalk dock connecting mic - and allow them to use apps to record audio like Griffin's.

We already know that mod'd mics can be used with other audio recording apps on the 1G Touch, would be nice if Apple opened this up.

Of course cut and paste would be nice too ;-)
