Feb 18th 2009 12:10PM Like many of their sites, they put up a pretty sign, then dump you into an unnavigatable mess of information you'll sooner drown in than learn from. I'll take my Safari Library over Microsoft Learning any day of the week.

OpenDownload: Add a run option to the Firefox Download dialog (Download Squad)

Apr 7th 2008 4:07PM Wow. Am I so old that I remember that the run was Purposefully no implemented for security purposes? This add-on is not a feature. It's a flaw, but to each their own and to the power of choice.

Feb 19th 2008 1:48PM Point: As a reader, I don't think it's funny.

Side Notes: It's up to you as a writer/journalist to respect the feelings/culture/history of your readership. Maybe you're making a statement that anyone "offended" by this can F*** off out of your blog (kudos for having cajones). Maybe you're preserving the pic on principal alone (you've chose poorly). Maybe you're not mature enough to look at the situation objectively with all eyes on you and do what you think is right (I don't know you so I couldn't say). Whatever the case, this post now has nothing to do with BD or HD-DVD.

Addendum: For the commenters telling other people to chill out... Your lack of empathy and ideological intolerance is as frustrating as it is depressing.

Summary: whatever, next story

Hands-on with the Fujitsu u810 tablet (Engadget)

Jan 8th 2008 1:49PM I've had one for a few months, running XP (mine doesn't have the ears) and my biggest complaint (like others) has been the keyboard. It was very popular while abroad. I guess it's not available in parts of Europe yet.

However, a friend decide to test the fingerprint sensor.. AND IT LET HIM IN. Not consistently, but more than once. This was a bit distressing.

I haven't tried swapping any keys yet, I much rather go for (unlikely to Ever happen) a full replacement. Dedicated arrow keys alone would make this thing more usable.

Built NY prepping neoprene Laptop Back Pack (Engadget)

Jan 8th 2008 1:36PM My thoughts exactly... well, maybe not exactly, but motorcycles and regular use were involved. And I just got back from Europe, but they're way too busy sporting scooters to be cool enough for this :p
