IE7 among tomorrow's Windows Updates (Download Squad)
Oct 9th 2006 10:02PM I'd like to correct two misconceptions in the post above. First, the Washington Post blog is incorrect - IE7 won't be released tomorrow. That was speculation on that author's part.
And second, IE7's distribution via Automatic Updates won't be silent - no one will reboot to find an IE7 they didn't expect. See http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/2006/07/26/678149.aspx for more details.
