It just means that you didn't select one of the pre-built, ready to ship Mini 1000's, and instead customized your own. That doesn't really make sense considering they found this in the parts store...

It's got two different chips: Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD and ATI Mobility Radeon 3470 with 256MB

Right click, switch graphics, screen flickers, and we're good to go. No reboot, no log off, no driver reinstall...nothing.
It just works. End of story.
