Feb 10th 2009 10:27AM Hi Brett,

I wonder if you could share your hacky AppleScrips?

Thanks in advance

Adobe releases Flash Player 10, ships CS4 (TUAW.com)

Oct 16th 2008 2:33AM Hi there,

I just wanted to let you know that with SafariStand (http://hetima.com/safari/stand-e.html) you can actually configure Safari to load Flash only when clicked on.

That's especially useful if you open more than 1 YouTube site at once and don't want to let the videos auto-play (why oh why can't it be disabled?). It also prevents those crazy ads from showing up.

This makes flash rather enjoyable than nerve wrecking…

PayPal excludes Safari from "Safer Browsers" (TUAW.com)

Feb 28th 2008 5:36PM Everyone who is dumb enough to visit PayPal or a financial site through links or an insecure wifi connection won't give a s*** if there are any yellow buttons on his browser.

Unsanity rides again onto Leopard (TUAW.com)

Feb 27th 2008 2:53PM I'm absolutely horrified about the comments here!

Yeah, APE caused some problems on Leopard upgrades but as the developer stated:

"First, let's talk about the situation behind what happened with APE 2.0.1 and Mac OS X 10.5.0 (note that APE 2.0.2 was released on 2006-11-01, a year before Leopard's release, and APE 2.0.3 is the current version)."

"Due to it being a deadlock, the login process would never continue on Mac OS X 10.5 with APE 2.0.1 installed, no matter how long the user waited."

When people are too lazy to update their software FOR OVER ONE YEAR, especially software which could introduce some problems, they don't deserve it better.

Don't blame it on Unsanity, would you test a version of your software which is over a year old?!? I doubt so...

TypeIt4Me 4 adds Autocue and automatic spelling correction (TUAW.com)

Feb 27th 2008 2:36PM The autocue feature is really handy but

a) I've used TextExpander for quite some time now and there's no way to get my TextExpander snippets into TypeIt4Me

b) After I saw this neat feature I wrote the developers of TextExpander an email and the replied that this feature is on their feature list so we just have to wait a little bit (hopefully not too long...)

ScreenFlow: The killer screencasting app is here (TUAW.com)

Feb 15th 2008 4:15AM I had the same experience, no crashes and exporting works fine. I also watched the screencasts and realized that there IS a way to narrate your recording but it's not very intuitive but I think if the developers improves the app a little bit, it will be a fantastic 1.1 app.

P.S.: I am absolutely stunned how fast this app is, everything is in real time and recording doesn't havoc my CPU like other apps (iShowU), wondering how they did this?

ScreenFlow: The killer screencasting app is here (TUAW.com)

Feb 14th 2008 8:04PM Did they even beta-test this program? It didn't crash on my but it seems a little bit unfinished.

There are so many features missing and there are no options at all (screen area to record, screen click adjustments, custom callout, narration of the screencast...)

I would say it's in a public beta stage but it has a lot of potential!
