iPad to be sold in all 158 Best Buy Mobile stores (TUAW.com)
Nov 3rd 2010 8:58AM I worked at Radio Shack when they started selling iPods, and I know my store paid $297 to get an iPod that we sold for $299. If we didn't sell accessories, warranties or the store credit card with it, the store lost money after our commission was paid.

However, the combination of the spreadsheet app and the rumored "word processing mode" in Pages will make it pretty hard for me to resist now.

Wii "hardware is basically a GC," says Miyamoto [update 1] (Joystiq)
Oct 4th 2006 2:06PM Dan (#9) nailed it. That's what the problem is. This is different than the GBA and DS because those took the capabilities of home consoles and made them portable. That's cool. That's revolutionary.
The Wii takes the capabilities of a home console and adds a new controller. While the controller itself is pretty exciting, why not add more than just a new controller? How about some new hardware from the ground up?
