Sep 1st 2010 11:40AM Pretty sure building a data center doesn't mean you automatically have edge servers to be able to stream a broadcast.

It's most likely going to be the standard Akamai setup that Apple usually hosts their events on:

Mar 8th 2006 4:46PM I think the problem I have with NewsFire and endo is that they pool everything into one big unread bin. I change the settings around a bit, but I find it hard to understand what feed things are from. NNW's source list is perfect for the way I use my RSS reader.

NewsFire isn't as bad as endo, but NNW works great for me atm. I would love to switch but I really get annoyed at some of the other readers.

Feb 14th 2006 12:07PM I have to say that I enjoy the 'world' feel of WoW though. That is why I continue to play it. Everything is going on now, everywhere. I like that. I like traveling to other places, adventuring, etc. I like to think of it as Zelda but with a bunch of people all playing it at once. Not as Street Fighter in a large arena.

I don't think I am alone either.

go watch MTV (or MuchMusic) and you'll notice they blur all the logos. The 'in the wild' version was probably released on the website or a dvd, etc.

And I am glad to hear about the rise in readers. That wasn't my point, though. My point was, you are losing readers (and reader respect) with posts like this. Not that the site has a declining reader-ship. In my opinion, if another company was to start a Apple blog (not some guy on Blogger) just like Weblogs, Inc. has done, then many would shift their focus there. Right now, there isn't much alternative to TUAW. Yes there are many other Apple related blogs — but none have the backing this one does.

So, again, without posts like yours, I wouldn't dare look anywhere else to feed my Apple blog appetite.
