Sensitive India Areas Rumored to be Removed from Google Earth? (The Unofficial Google Weblog)

Mar 10th 2006 7:54AM Your story is inaccurate, you should check your sources. Google has NOT removed anything. First of all, there has not been a data update since Feb. 13th, and it did not have anything to do with India. Secondly, all the satellite data provided by Google Earth is purchased from world-wide providers. India would have to get those companies to remove the data, not Google.
