Are Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon engaged? (Aisledash)
Apr 30th 2008 12:15PM I just wrote about Nick and Mariah over on Highbrid Nation and I was interested in seeing what others had to say. It's really looking official. Nick is indeed "wild'n out" and Mariah's mid-life crisis is in full swing. I know Nick has dough but how does he just keep dropping 2 million plus on engagement rings? i don't care how much money you have. That's a waste of money. He could have fed a village of starving Africans for one year with that money. What a dummy.
A Raisin in the Sun: A Ratings Winner and Homebound (BV Newswire)
Mar 14th 2008 11:42AM As explained by Juan Perez over on Highbrid Nation, Raisin in the Sun is doing big things. It is a made for television movie that they are promoting with a major release budget. For those, like myself, who missed it the first time around you can now see Diddy giving and Oscar worthy performance...well not really, lol.
David Simon says thanks to fans of The Wire (AOL TV)
Mar 12th 2008 11:41AM Me and the other writers over at Highbrid Nation loved The Wire. Actually, one of our guys just did a post today talking about how important The Wire was to viewers as well as the cast.
I think The Wire is one of those shows that most people won't truly get until years from now. 20 years from now people will look back on the Wire as one of the greatest shows ever created.
Floyd Mayweather Announces Wrestling Gig for $20 Mil (Blackvoices Main)
Mar 1st 2008 1:09AM I know for a fact that he will not receive close to 20 million. His payout will be closer to the 1 million marker. the 20 mil number is just part of the storyline hyping up the match
Obama wins in Iowa...so say the search engines (BloggingStocks)
Jan 4th 2008 2:33PM One of the writers on a site I blog for talked a about Obama's win. Of course he first had to explain was a Caucus was to our readers, lol.
Honestly I hate to play the race card but I'm very surprised to see Obama win in a state like Iowa. Maybe the world isn't as racist as I thought. I'm feeling like if he can win there he can win anywhere.
OPENhulu: Why wait for a Hulu invitation? (AOL TV)
Jan 2nd 2008 11:02PM Not sure I'm feeling OpenHulu. I think I'd rather use the real thing. I recently did a review of Hulu over at HighbridNation.com. Overall I'm pleased though. However somethings could be better. Like can I get more than one of the 19 seasons of Simpsons please?
Hulu opens up HD preview, more to come? (Engadget HD)

OPENhulu rips off Hulu and passes the savings on to you (Download Squad)
Jan 2nd 2008 10:51PM I'm not sure I see the purpose of this. Is it really that hard to get an invite to the beta. I don't think I waited that long for mine. And even if you can't get an invite is waiting not an option.
I'd be interested in seeing how much is earned from the ads placed by the videos on OpenHulu. Is it just for maintaining the site or for profit?
Liar Doesn't Help Biggie Smalls Investigation (Blackvoices Main)
Sep 27th 2007 11:30AM It really is ashamed that Biggie's murder is still not solved. One of the other writers over at Highbrid Nation wrote a really insightful peice asking whether this is another case of the ridiculous "snitching" code of the streets that has gone so wrong.
The whole thing really angers me
