Apr 11th 2010 2:00PM Nothing is turning your iPhone into "trash". It still works as it always has, and it will continue to work after the update. Apple isn't forcing you to do anything. Try jailbreaking your 3G and then comment on how well you think multitasking works on it. I have a jailbroken 3G and have used multitasking A LOT, and it isn't a pleasant experience. It's slow, and things crash all the time. Why not just upgrade to the next model? Technology moves fast, and the 3G is outdated.

As for me, I'll be upgrading my 3G to the next model whenever it comes out.
