So you are saying its a bad thing to pay cash for a $45-$60 phone, which you can use with any carrier, no strings attached? By the way, Nokia 1100 does exactly what its meant to do, make and receive calls. That is why people buy it, because all they want is a phone

Apparently Apple cares enough to use it as an example to support its own design flaws.

On another note, RIM phones may not have all the greatest music/video/gaming functionality, but their phones work great as phones. Thats why a lot of businesses love to use them.
