Jibbigo iPhone app translates from English to Spanish and back again (Engadget)

Oct 30th 2009 11:17AM because US English vocabulary is miniscule (and similar to the program's built-in one). Half the words consist of "fuck", "ass", "yee-haw" and "sup". Real British English uses a much larger vocabulary, that Americans perhaps wouldn't understand.

Tiny USB-powered desk vacuum totally doesn't suck (Engadget)

Nov 3rd 2007 10:41PM why the hell do people think USB is a power source ?! i'm tired of seeing USB drink chillers and USB fans and all that crap. there is such a thing called batteries, and there's wonderful other thing called power outlets that are ubiquitous. in fact, you're more likely to find a power outlet than a USB port! just look around your room! isn't it magic?

i once saw a USB shaver on engadget. where the hell are you going to be shaving that there isn't a power outlet? in the seat of an airplane? couldn't you just walk over to the bathroom where there is one?

Inventor claims electric van can cruise for 500-miles on full charge (Engadget)

Oct 3rd 2007 6:18PM because you didn't read my post fully. 500 miles on flat land is an easy accomplishment. is 500 miles on flat land any use to you if it only goes 20 in the hills?

Inventor claims electric van can cruise for 500-miles on full charge (Engadget)

Oct 3rd 2007 2:51PM if you insist on using 'current' instead of 'amperage', you also must insist on using the word 'electric potential' rather than 'voltage'.

just saying.
