Apple delays white iPhone a second time, won't ship until 'later this year' (Engadget)

Jul 29th 2010 9:33PM I'm sure it's been said, but I'll say it anyway.... WHY get white if you SHOULD cover this sweet gem of a phone with a full-body case anyway??

No. Really. I'm serious... ;-)

TiVo Premiere to receive yet another performance and stability update (Engadget HD)

Jul 9th 2010 6:27PM Come on Tivo.... steps backwards BLOW for us Tivo fans.

I was alll over the Premier box till my brother got one and I can't stand the "new" menu system. It's horrible. We just want to watch our shows!! Get it?? Record, sort, play. Easy. I don't need a face full of "similar tastes" unless i ASK for it. All that CRAP is impeding the ability to easily find and watch our shows. It's "cool", but too slow and messy.

I'll hang on to my TivoHD till she dies. Love the simple menu, love the simple search, etc...

BTW, FIX all the Tivo extras.. Netflix, Flickr, Yahoo!(tm), and all that is sooooo slllooooowww on the Tivo. Don't even use it. That's what my HTPC and Apple TV (hacked of course) are for. Even the Xbox360 blows Tivo out of the water when it comes to added content.

COME ON TIVO!!!

Physicist fight: how heavy is a kilogram? (Engadget)

Jun 6th 2010 9:36PM @imtigger2 Just as flawed as my own grammar and spelling? Hmmm... most likely. Back to my rockets....

Physicist fight: how heavy is a kilogram? (Engadget)

Jun 6th 2010 9:35PM @dicobalt Ha! You say that with no clue as to what my day job actually is (I'll consider your jest). Your opinionated theory is flawed as is the negligible about of "gravitational pull" of any given object even when using Newton's formulas. The property of attraction of the earth's gravitational field on all objects creates your "pull", not the object itself. I'll debate this till I die, which may be next week while jumping off a building just to prove my point. ;-) As for my day job? I'm just fine. Thanks.

Jun 6th 2010 8:53PM @MarcinK The only known objects to have a gravitational pull currently exist as celestial objects.

Police investigating lost iPhone prototype raid Gizmodo editor's home (Engadget)

Apr 26th 2010 6:54PM @captaind172 This has NOTHING to do with Apple. The DA is pressing this case and the DA asked for the warrant.

Police investigating lost iPhone prototype raid Gizmodo editor's home (Engadget)

Apr 26th 2010 6:53PM HOW is this "stolen property"? The Apple idiot LOST the phone. It didn't belong to the Bar owner, it didn't even belong to the Apple Employee. If anyone stole it, the employee did. There's no WAY he was allowed to take that home and show it to the ladies to help him get laid. No way Apple would ok that.

Then, a guy found it. We don't know, "maybe" he asked around the bar... then, supposedly, yes, I get it, he then called Apple to return the phone. They didn't respond or take it. They gave him a ticket number. As for Gizmodo, this is an easy one, they were paying for a story, they returned the phone... that should be it.

The DA is pressing this NOT Apple. Apple had to do the right thing and routinely file a police report. The DA is an asshole and HE decided to press this issue for national attn., not Apple. No, not an Apple lover myself, but please see where the blame should be placed in tearing this journalist a new one.. the DA.
