Windows Phone 7 Connector for Mac hits the App Store (Download Squad)

Feb 16th 2011 12:37PM This combo seems a little like an oxymoron come to life. (did i spell that right? oxymoron, oxy moron, oxy-moron... hmm...) I just cant see the casual Apple user owning a W7 phone. I guess it's more of a business thing.

Mockingbird is a fantastic in-browser tool for creating website wireframes (Download Squad)

Feb 16th 2011 12:30PM I like it. With a program like Greenshot (brought to my attention by DS) you can save an image for future reference.

Flattr micropayment app arrives in the Android Market (Download Squad)

Jan 3rd 2011 11:18AM I like.
It's amazing how fast technology progresses and changes our everyday life. The best part: we're still required to think for ourselves. Gravy! (a little Tron reference. I watched the first a couple of weeks back. just as i remembered it)

Dec 22nd 2010 5:31PM Very nice app. It seems to work great.

Ask DLS: how to change your Download Squad password, the best Android web browser, and tailoring our RSS feeds (Download Squad)

Dec 21st 2010 6:44PM Concerning the browser, I really like Maxthon. It was featured (I think) here just a few days ago. The home page is in an Asian language (Japanese?) and isn't customizable. It updated a day after installing it. the Home page is now in English, but still not customizable. I really like the browser. It's the best I've tried so far.

Dec 2nd 2010 11:47AM Don't know anything about this app, but it looks pretty slick. I'll give it a try.

Snow Transformation Pack makes your Windows 7 PC look like it's running OS X (Download Squad)

Aug 16th 2010 2:04PM Well, I see I'm not alone. It certainly is a cool achievement, but I'm not really for making Windows look like Mac. And Windows 7 looks awesome already. Is the Mac skin just as customizable? Will the slide show wallpaper still work with this skin?

Support Details gives you system details instantly (Download Squad)

Jul 27th 2010 1:04PM This does seem very basic. I can't imagine it being all that useful to anyone other than a user lacking basic computer knowledge. I don't know if there is much more that can be added without posing a security risk, but I'd like more detail myself.
Still, very nice. I definitely has potential.

Sunbelt Software unveils ClearCloud, an anti-malware DNS (Download Squad)

Jul 15th 2010 1:40PM Sounds pretty useful. I get a lot of co-workers with teen-aged kids asking me to tune up their machine. I think I'll give this a try. Hopefully, there won't be too much of a slowdown.
