Designer Chumby up for sale: $600 never seemed so functional (Engadget)

Jan 22nd 2009 10:49AM jeez....kinda ugly. I don't think I'd pay $600 for a custom painted chumby, but I would *definitely* buy a $199 plain vanilla chumby again! Waking up to Pandora every morning rules!

Microsoft launches improved desktop search for Windows XP and Vista (Download Squad)

Mar 28th 2008 3:25PM I second the X1 recommendation. I've been using it for years, tried the rest, only to always go back to X1. I'll give this one a shot too though.

KUKA Robotics and Primal Rides to release interactive amusement ride (Engadget)

Nov 10th 2006 2:30PM Kuka was actually running this thing 3 or 4 years ago at an industrial automation trade show in Chicago. They had 2 programs running. One was mild, and the other would basically slosh your brains around in your head!

DCX showing 4.2-liter Cummins diesel in concept Jeep at SEMA (Autoblog)

Oct 25th 2006 1:56PM me thinks mr oak needs to work on his reading comprehension.....#7 wasnt peddling Civics. He was basically voicing the same opinion as you.

And by the by......i need a car, not a bike....my 30 mile (each way) commute would really suck on a bicycle.

That being said, this Wrangler concept looks pretty badass....if i were in the market for a small SUV, this would move to the top of my list!! kinda reminds me of that Ford Bronco concept that was shown four or five years back.

Ford Fairlane greenlighted for production (Autoblog)

Jun 21st 2006 5:01PM i think Ford made a big mistake by not producing that Bronco they showed as a concept a few years back...... that truck was absolutely beautiful.

Sony's eBook Reader gets a price on SonyStyle store (Engadget)

Feb 27th 2006 10:11AM I might get this to replace my old Gemstar/RCA/Rocket e-book reader. This thing displays pdf's too, wich will be great for e-comics. Too bad it doesn't have a touchscreen. With my current setup, i can highlight text, bookmark, and write notes on the pages.

Day 2 of Engadget Mobile's 30 days of cellphone giveaways (Engadget Mobile)

Feb 14th 2006 9:13PM cool...700W for me please ;)

PSP firmware guide makes sense of confusing PSP software options (Joystiq)

Jan 4th 2006 10:07AM why is it that the PSP's detractors always whine about how Lumines is the only game worth having? They sound like they've had there head up there butt for the last year.
Burnout, SOCOM FTB, GTA, X-Men II, Tokobot, SSX, Kingdom of Paradise, etc. All really good games.

Within the next post or 2 someone will say: "pffft...they're all spinoffs and ports..."

So what? I'm never home, don't have time to sit in front of the TV and play. When I'm travelling for business, I'm not going to drag my PS2 around. I'd like to be able to play these games on the road.

Don't want to play emu games, they hold my attention for about 30 mins tops as I reminisce about the old days, so no need to be able to run homebrew.
