First Look: Interview with Tim Haines, creator of Favit for iPhone (TUAW.com)

Dec 23rd 2009 7:47AM How can it be legal that this FavIt developer is making money from other people's jokes? (i.e.: creative property) Especially with the tweets anonymized, Tim Haines isn't even giving credit where it is due. Nor does he offer an opt-out for Twitter users, thus commercializing off of other people's creative property without consent nor claim. He's not quoting. He's stealing. Unless a portion of all proceeds from sales go to all Twitter users, and an opt-out is offered, this application can not be legal.
