Jul 28th 2007 6:22PM these tvs have been out for ages, but their model numbers were LNxxR81BD. Just recently bought a 40 inch. so, i think these are the new ones with a little facelift and 10000:1 contrast ratio.
the older ones have 8000:1 ratio and are SO slightly different.
