Dec 15th 2009 5:02PM The point they're trying to make is that not ALL parts involved in this issue are being looked at. Questioning the fairness of how this issue is being handled does not automatically put Public Knowledge on one side of the fence or the other. ISP's are companies (stakeholders) too, and they would have useful input on dealing with piracy. It is important to have all the necessary information when making new regulations so that you do not unintentionally harm the wrong people. Combating piracy would most likely require changes to networks, additional hardware for ISP's, and before the Government decides to tell the ISP's what to do they need to be sure that making all these changes won't run them all out of business.
