Jul 28th 2007 8:34AM Like that was responsible...

No it is not reporting. It is wrong for a multitude of reasons. Foolhardy in the extreme. I was going to list some but I think you know why and how it was wrong.

Next time use your head. Every other reporter does.

Michael Vick dogfighting video... (The Jason Calacanis Weblog)

Jul 24th 2007 9:00PM Total and utter bastard. We are supposed to be caretakers of animals, not their tormentors. I loathe and despise any cruelty to animals, it makes me sick to the stomach.

Thanks Jason for blogging it, hopefully he will be judged in the public eye and rather than determined by how much money he can throw at the case.

Password management that doesn't suck - Ask DLS (Download Squad)

Jan 5th 2007 5:48AM I use and swear by RoboForm http://www.roboform.com/
I was resistant like you until I reached crisis point like you. Now I only have to remember one password RoboForm does the rest. All your passwords are encrypted and secure as well. The other thing is that you are more inclined to use unique hard to remember passwords - because you don't have to remember them!

It has some great other features as well. Such as clicking a site in Roboform's list, you go to the sites login, RoboForm fills and submits the user name and pass and you are in. Nothing to it. Keeps notes safe and secure as well. Fully customisable and holds multiple ID's. Very, very good. Highly recommended. Note that you do have to pay for the version that allows more than 10 passwords and user names, not free but well and truly worth it and not what I would call expensive. Entitles you to free upgrades forever. The best 20 bucks I ever spent (for this type of thing).

You could do a lot worse, try it out you wont be disappointed. BTW it does have a tool bar - but that is optional, you'll want it. I hate tool bars normally but I couldn't live without this one.

Oct 16th 2006 8:12AM Even though you say that the app is spyware free - I wonder why it is a red site on Site Advisor? Here is a link to the page explaining why:

Check and check again.

Fishy web site offering Xbox game downloads (Download Squad)

Sep 21st 2006 8:27PM Actually, I do think it is worth mentioning. Everyday I speack to people that get sucked in by some damn scam. As you have written - it is fishy to us, but to others it doesn't look that way. I think it encouages people to *think* before they access these services that seem legit. This type of post says look here - this is something to be careful of. I am not against that. Remember that not everyone that reads this is a geek or knowlegable in these things. If it stops one person going there - Job done.
