Jan 30th 2007 5:33PM Awesome round-up! I count myself fortunate to have lived through the evolution of home computers, it's been quite a fun ride. Had an Atari 800XL back in 1983, which cost $300. The 5.25" floppy drive was a whopping $400. Insane. These commercials are indeed time capsules, thanks for posting 'em!

Sep 21st 2006 12:22PM GeoWorks ran on PC's & compatibles, an alternative to Windows at the time. I think it ran on top of DOS but can't remember exactly...

Sep 20th 2006 1:23PM WOW does that bring back memories! What a terrific find. I remember seeing GeoWorks in the stores back in the early 90's, but never knew what it really looked like until I checked out the screenshots. I still have an Atari ST with TOS so of course had to go look at that one again. Always fun to take a trip down memory lane...thanks!
