Jul 22nd 2009 12:44PM I found that the new version fixed an issue I had with capturing sound from my SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS card in Windows 7 RC1. I can convert my vinyl and tapes without booting into XP now. :)

Arkansas Same-Sex Adoption Ban Takes Effect Jan. 1 (ParentDish)

Dec 4th 2008 12:52PM "Isn't that better than having no parents at all?"

Absolutely. And isn't it better than a child being aborted? I find it very ironic that many of the people who appose abortion also appose same sex marriage/adoption. It seems to me you just want a good home for a child.

Season's bleatings (ParentDish)

Dec 17th 2007 1:15PM My wife in I use the Martha Stewart wrapping paper from K-Mart (of all places) and it is actually pretty nice quality. You pay a little premium, but I feel it is well worth it (since I wrap most of the gifts). We are partial to Martha's Golden Traditions collection of wrapping paper.

Radiohead ditches iTunes to keep album complete (TUAW.com)

Sep 21st 2007 8:57AM Am I the only one who still buys Cds? I guess I prefer to have the entire album 'experience' rather than a bunch of top 40 singles. If you buy the CD (you can find almost any CD for $10 or less online), then you can rip it at whatever quality you desire in a format that is DRM free. I agree with Radiohead and am convinced that the album experience will never die.
