Aug 31st 2006 11:17PM What a zionist load of crap. Christianity like this makes me sick to my stomach.
Video editing: Mac or PC? (TUAW.com)
Jun 12th 2006 1:08PM I work on a G5 and use Final Cut Studio for all of my editing and sound design. I can't bring myself to choos Motion over After Effects but when it comes to editing, FCP is the NLE of choice for me.
In school my engineering teacher scoffed at FCP and called it "pro-sumer". I learned to edit on Avid Media Composer (running on an old beige PowerMac tower of some sort). FCP rocks it so much harder. It's very intuitive and just works.
Rampart - Today's (Classic) Time Waster (Download Squad)
May 10th 2006 12:22PM Heck yeah! My wife and I used to play that all the time on my NES when I was in college (just 2 years ago). Really great game.

Apple announces winner of 1 Billion Downloads contest (TUAW.com)
Feb 23rd 2006 4:42PM I considered making some snide comment like, "Enjoy paying those taxes." But then I thought that if it was me who had won, I'd find a way.
Interviewing with Apple (TUAW.com)
Feb 23rd 2006 1:45PM Chris,
I have no problem admitting that Cameron's job would have been tougher than mine and he probably would have been paid more. The job I was offered was the sales position and it paid half what I make now at my "real job".
The creative position I applied for would have been a bit more involved. While sales would have been a part of the job, I'd have also taught people how to use Apple's Pro application. Now, as I was not offered that position, I have no idea what those positions pay.

Interviewing with Apple (TUAW.com)
Feb 22nd 2006 10:55AM I was offered a job at an Apple store they opened in town but did not take it because the compensation was not enough. It would have been cool if I had still been in college and did not have a family. But it was a fun process to go through.
I was latered called back to interview for a creative position and had the pleasure of going to one of many group interviews held here in town. I was not offered that position but it was still a fun experience.
Gestures in the wild (TUAW.com)
Feb 9th 2006 11:03AM Magnus,
Yes, the Tactapad! Thanks for the link, I got nowhere with Google.
Gestures in the wild (TUAW.com)
Feb 8th 2006 6:03PM I swear I have seen something like this before. It even used the same gesture to resize images. I think it was running on a Mac, used proprietary software and instead of actually touching the display it used a camera to super impose your hands over the display. I'll try to find the link later.
