Mar 28th 2012 1:16AM I like Dead End Thrills, but this is not Dead End Thrills. Please, don't become Kotaku. I'd expect to see this there.
Mar 1st 2012 1:33AM @aristokrat - It's true, but at the same time I strongly WANT Kickstarter to be the new way we pre-order (and simultaneously fund) our games going forward. Not that you were really complaining, but it's only natural a site covering the latest news includes a site that's one-stop-shopping for finding start-up game and gaming related projects.
Feb 28th 2012 11:34PM @HeyAndrei To be honest, I would have liked to see you guys dig just a little deeper and be just a bit more forthcoming with the extras - I honestly think you'd be helping yourselves in the long run. But darn it, you listened and you obviously care. We can compromise. ;)You'll see me in the backers, and congrats on going indie! (!!!)
Feb 28th 2012 4:25PM @HeyAndrei Yes, that is quite the clarification, haha. I certainly give you guys the benefit of the doubt; unfortunately in the story it almost sounds like "We got lucky". Joystiq, perhaps you'd consider a clarification?Hey, if your Kickstarter goes over well, how about looking into funding that SHMUP, hmm? :) Big fan of the genre and I'd be interested to see what you guys could do.
Feb 28th 2012 3:17PM To be clear - all that said; best of luck! I enjoyed Auditorium both on the web and on iOS, and wish you guys lots of success. I wish your Kickstarter was a little more accessible, but I'm rooting for you.
Feb 28th 2012 3:07PM Personally, I still enjoy a great single player experience. (Thank you, Skyrim, for showing I'm not alone) The wife and I finished Portal 2's co-op missions, but neither of us found it as much fun as the single player experience was. Not to say it can't be done - Dead Nation was probably our favorite as of late, with Magicka a close second. Left 4 Dead was stellar, though L4D2 not so much.Just a tip guys, I really don't mean to be harsh but "We created Auditorium by accident" really isn't something you probably want to say in an interview. There's honesty, then there's kind of damaging statements.
Feb 28th 2012 12:27PM Sorry guys, I'm a big Kickstartr fan but these reward tiers are just too rich for my blood. $20 for the game; $30 for dev updates; $80 for a soundtrack; and $100 for beta? That is, in my opinion, setting the bar far too high.
Apr 6th 2011 12:01PM I have good luck with this sort of thing; I'll give it a shot.
Apr 5th 2011 9:13PM @(Unverified) There are more I believe, but strangely they didn't post them. They also didn't mention the game went gold today.
Mar 25th 2011 1:34PM @Sebastian Anthony - Hah, yeah. I just realized and hoped I could get back here before you caught it. Nope!
