The Office: Product Recall (AOL TV)
Apr 27th 2007 2:16AM I personally LOVE Creed because of his wackiness and total dis-regard for anyone but himself. This is not real life...who cares (well, besides those of you that said you do ;) if someone on a show got fired that we have never even seen on the screen? I expected him to take the money from the envelope...did not expect him to just throw the card away...pure comedy all around. I hope they keep him and his crazy shenanigans in the show...and this is not the first time he got someone fired (remember Devon).
Greasemonkey compiler - turn greasemonkey scripts into complete Firefox extensions (Download Squad)
Mar 31st 2006 9:14PM glitch pudding: did you NOT read the blog write up? I will use Greasemonkey but I do see the usefulness of this to give it to a friend or family member who doesnt have greasemonkey and is not that tech savy and you might want them to have the functionality. Firefox on its own just murders my system if I walk away and don't close it.
Things I Hate About TV: Hacky sitcom jokes (AOL TV)
Mar 31st 2006 5:52PM I hate "what happens" line as well...my favortie is a shirt my friend got...
"What happens in Kansas City..."
Has a picture of the Las Vegas welcome sign with Kansas City wrote on it
"...doesn't really matter."
mailbigfile.com (Download Squad)
Jan 24th 2006 5:54PM This website killed my work computer (500Mhz Intel P3, 512MB RAM) when uploading a file...had to basically sit there whil ethe system crawled like a baby. I do like the progress bar, will be great on my home machine, but I do not like the fact is doesn't give you a link when it is done. I do not trust most places and I would rather not get an e-mail and just take the link to use in my e-mail I send to people.
The website also needs a little help on the way it looks. I love the glassy looking icons, but hate the huge font and dead space. The tabbing is messed up on the upload page as well, tab from e-mail field skips the file box field. Plus the main page should be more condensed...I should have to scroll down just to click the send button.
World Tracker turns anyone into a cellphone spy (Engadget)
Jan 20th 2006 5:57PM From my understanding you send a text message and when they reply to it the service then tracks what tower that message came from. ONE MESSAGE, ONE TRACK. You don't send one message and they reply and you can track them forever...that would be impossible on a regular cell phone...maybe on a smart phone that could have software to run full time in the background.
Another reason to believe this is that the page says, no monthly costsbut uses "location credits". Which means that you pay for each text message through the service and one message means...one track.
