Sep 18th 2010 3:08AM @ Hylic: First I remove search field because there is need for that - use address bar for searching then righ click on address bar -> customize - > appearance -> buttons -> status and drag status field next to address field

I guess that You use Core Duo - when You get 50% CPU utilization it means that one core is 100% used. Having a single process using 100% on multi core CPU kinda beats thats CPU purpose :)

Mar 25th 2010 11:38AM Actually, Google Bookmarks have killer feature: Google Search with scope of Your bookmarks instead of Web. This means advanced operators like "-" or "site:" and it search full content of Your bookmarked pages instead title/description/nickname/etc.

With these new updates it lost another two bonuses: it was fast and it was personal only.

Jan 30th 2010 10:16AM I also used Avast for cuple of months and switched to Comodo due Avasts high memory usage. Later on used Avira, tried Avast 5, tried Comodo 4 beta and returned to Avast5.
On 512 MB system:
Avira: 60MB (+ anoying ad pop ups)
Avast: 25MB !!!
Comodo 4 beta: 130 MB (it is still beta and it do provide more layers of protection but i have limited resources)

ALWIL did amazing job on biggest flaw of Avast.

Jan 15th 2010 4:14PM I am Opera user but at work i must use Chrome and i miss Opera's address bar search shortcut (not just for search also for whois, google translate etc). Finaly i have similiar feature in Chrome :)
