Nick Hogan gets prison time (AOL TV)

May 12th 2008 4:40PM I'm confused, he had a BAC of above 0.02... How old is he? If he's above 21 isn't that a legal amount provided his BAC didn't surpass 0.08?

Desktoptopia goes free and PC for version 1.5 (TUAW.com)

Apr 4th 2008 3:37PM Same here, interesting concept, but seems to crash more often than it runs... I'd love to have something like this that works though...

Giveaway Monday: Futurama: Bender's Big Score! (AOL TV)

Nov 20th 2007 12:31AM Favorite moment: This is the worst kind of discrimination, the kind against me!

Download Squad's Invite-a-palooza: Day 2 (Download Squad)

Jul 25th 2007 10:45AM I would love one :-)

Giveaway: have an iPhone on us! (Engadget)

Jul 1st 2007 3:23PM Among other things, proving to my Treo and Windows Mobile-wielding friends that Safari really is *that much* better than Opera Mini 4. As an added plus, I could stop using Opera Mini 4 on my own Treo :-)

Help make Google translations better (Download Squad)

Mar 3rd 2007 9:21PM I hate to bring this up, but I feel compelled to correct people who misuse the phrase "begs the question." I love you guys, but then again, I like sounding like a jackass.

Begging the question is when an argument's conclusion repeats the original claim rather than advancing it. It's a circular argument. "God is always right, because the Bible, which is written by God, says he is."

Catch feeds on your mobile device with Netvibes Mobile (Download Squad)

Feb 26th 2007 5:12PM maybe it's just me, but I find it extremely frustrating that I have to now have two copies of each feed. it's problematic because I now have to mark each article as read two times... anyone know a way around this?

Hacking Vista to allow concurrent sessions (Download Squad)

Feb 21st 2007 11:18PM If I'm not mistaken, they've already figured out this hack. And I know I'm not mistaken, because I'm using it right now.

The Office: A Benihana Christmas (AOL TV)

Dec 17th 2006 6:56PM I can't believe this hasn't been mentioned, but far and away the funniest line of the episode was Jim saying to Dwight "could you be quiet, I'm in session."

I laughed at that for a few minutes, and still do every time I think about it.

Opera Mini 3: RSS for your cell phone (Download Squad)

Nov 28th 2006 5:56PM I don't know about anyone else, but Opera Mini has always been lackluster on the Treo 650. The old version was much better than blazer, but would crash or freeze every 10-15 pages, and now it can barely even get past the setup screen. It tests the network connection and then crashes the palm. When Opera is reopened, it shows the homepage, but upon loading the first actual web page it crashes again, and then every time after that when Opera is opened, it crashes without even getting to the homepage... I don't know why they can't just get something working right :-/
